NDMC-CBA Shines at BMAPP Summit 2025 with “Cocontainer” Pitch

The College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) of Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC) proudly represented the institution at the BMAPP Summit 2025 on August 22, 2025, held at the Sedes Sapientiae Auditorium, Holy Cross of Davao College.

Student leaders Charles Sulayman, Yesha Faith Baria, and June Ceasar Olores, guided by Dr. Sarah Jane B. Orillosa and Sir Juanito C. Dacula Jr., MBA, CMP, CMMS, presented “Cocontainer,” a feasibility study transforming coconut waste into sustainable containers. With the tagline “In Cocontainer, we are turning coconut waste into everyday grace,” the project highlighted both environmental responsibility and business viability.

Competing against 16 business schools across Mindanao, the NDMC-CBA team achieved 6th place overall, proving that NDMC students can turn classroom learning into real-world impact. This milestone supports SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by promoting sustainability and entrepreneurship.

The summit also inspired six NDMC BSBA students to pursue membership in BMAPP, reflecting their commitment to professional growth and innovation. NDMC takes pride in its delegates for bringing honor to the institution and setting the bar high for future academic competitions.
