NDMC Conducts Digital Literacy and Technical Writing Seminar
The Notre Dame of Midsayap College successfully conducted a series of seminar-workshops and culminating activities throughout February and March 2026 aimed at promoting digital literacy and strengthening participants’ practical computer and communication skills.
The program officially began on February 7, 2026, with the seminar-workshop titled “Make Your Ideas Come Alive: A Practical MS PowerPoint Workshop” facilitated by Mr. Ryan L. Nambong. The session focused on creative presentation design, visual storytelling, and effective communication using Microsoft PowerPoint.
On February 14, 2026, Ma’am Hazel Joy M. Gadingan facilitated the workshop “Mastering Data and Numbers: A Practical MS Excel Workshop,” where participants learned essential skills in data management, formulas, functions, and data visualization through hands-on activities and practical exercises.
The series culminated on February 21, 2026, through the activity “Bridging the Digital Divide: A Computer Literacy Program – Culminating Activity,” which showcased the participants’ acquired skills and demonstrated their ability to apply digital tools in real-life academic and professional contexts.
Additionally, on March 6, 2026, a Technical Writing Seminar was conducted at the NDMC Learning Resource Center and facilitated by Ma’am Ivy N. Macagba. The seminar emphasized the importance of producing clear, concise, and well-structured written outputs for academic, organizational, and professional purposes.
To conclude the program, a feedbacking and evaluation session was held on March 13, 2026, at Juan C. Brosas Integrated School. Participants and facilitators reflected on the effectiveness of the activities and shared recommendations for future training programs.
The seminar-workshops successfully enhanced participants’ digital literacy, technical skills, creativity, and adaptability, reinforcing the importance of technology and effective communication in today’s rapidly evolving environment.
