The first ever Oblate Schools Cultural-Athletic Association Meet was celebrated last December 5-9 2018 at the first Notre Dame school in Asia, the Notre Dame of Midsayap College. Five Oblate Notre Dame Schools participated in the OSCAA Meet 2018 namely: Notre Dame of Greater Manila, Notre Dame of Jolo College, Notre Dame of Kulaman, Notre Dame University and Notre Dame of Midsayap College.

The delegations arrived on December 5, 2018 and they were given a warmwelcome by the host school, NDMC. A red carpet was put in place and complementary snacks were given to all the delegates together with their coaches and delegation heads. The opening program was set on 6th of December. A Eucharistic Celebration presided by H.E. Orlando Cardinal Quivedo, OMI D.D started the day and it was followed by a parade around the town of Midsayap to showcase the 1st ever OSCAA Meet to the people of Midsayap. Afterwards, the opening ceremony started at the NDMC Athletic Field. A spectacular lighting of the symbolic urn sealed the opening program with Fr. Romeo Saniel, OMI, OSCAA President, declaring the official opening of the OSCAA Meet 2019.

Sports, Academic and Cultural events conspired during the 5-day meet that highlighted the talents and skills of the Notre Dameans. The most awaited Search for Mr. and Ms. OSCAA 2018 happened on the evening of December 7 which showcased the beauty and wit of the candidates.

The Cultural night and awarding ceremony took place on December 8, 2018 where the Oblate Schools dance and groove to the music highlighting peace and unity. Notre Dameans enjoyed the last night of the OSCAA Meet playing various games while others went caroling around the NDMC Campus. On the following day the delegates departed NDMC bringing with them memories that will surely be in scribed in their minds as they mingle with their fellow Notre Dameans.

Truly, the OSCAA Meet brought the 5 Notre Dame Schools in a bond that transcends beyond diversity valuing each other’s unique culture and differences.
