The Notre Dame of Midsayap College Learning Resource Center (NDMC LRC) forged a meaningful partnership with the Midsayap Municipal Library and Information Center, headed by Mrs. Gina May T. Daul, Librarian I, to advance Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives in the community. In coordination with the Municipal GAD Office, the Municipal Librarian assured regular provision of GAD-related publications and resources to the NDMC LRC.

This collaboration underscores the vital role of libraries as champions of equity, inclusivity, and empowerment. By serving as hubs for knowledge and dialogue, both institutions strengthen their shared commitment to promoting awareness and access to gender-responsive information.

To sustain the partnership, NDMC LRC aims to formalize the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and explore joint initiatives such as GAD seminars, storytelling sessions, and resource-sharing activities. Continuous capacity-building for library staff and systematic documentation of GAD resource delivery will ensure lasting impact and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
