The Ash Wednesday Mass last March 2 was presided by Fr. Jonathan R. Domingo, OMI – NDMC President. The said mass is a reminder of human mortality and the need for the reconciliation with God and marks the beginning of the penitential Lenten season. Immediately after the mass was the blessing of the new and iconic Museo de NDMC. Fr. Alvin Barreto, OMI, the school’s chaplain blessed the museum.  The said edifice houses collection of documents and mementos which include the music book and piano used by the late Mrs. Genoveva Deles-Jaranilla – director and mentor of the many stage plays of NDMC.  Also displayed in the all-glass structure are publications and achievements of the school in the form of magazines, trophies and photographs.   View more images   CTTO : Regina Student Publication

Extremely excited is an understatement to describe the feelings of the college students who could  finally see their classmates and teachers face to face.  The proposal and preparations to a limited face to face classes in the college was lengthily explained and assured by the administration to the concerned government agency. The green light was finally granted in February 28, which happened to be a Muslim holiday. The limited face to face classes in college was finally implemented in March 01. Is it not magic when creative minds converge to a three-part concert series? What started as a bubble idea turned into one of the grandest productions of NDMC.  The three units of the school – NTP, IBED and College took turn dishing musical and production snippets for The Grateful and Great Concert Series.  In September 8 the NTP relived the songs and dances of the 40s and 50s.   Edlyn Villasis – Tennessee Waltz (1940s) and Virgie O. Gilera – “America” Westside Story (1950s) represented the NTP for the Best Performer Competition.  The IBED commanded the stage in October 9 reprising the the 60s and 70s music with a refreshing interpretation.
