NDMC Joins 19th National NSTP Congress in Cebu City
The Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC), represented by the NSTP Coordinator and an NSTP Educator, proudly participated in the 19th National NSTP Congress held on July 2–4, 2025, at Golden Peak Hotel and Suites, Cebu City. With the theme “NSTP: Transforming the Youth Towards National Leadership for a Sustainable Philippines,” the congress gathered NSTP implementers and educators nationwide to strengthen youth development initiatives.
The three-day event featured sessions led by prominent government officials, security experts, and educators, emphasizing youth empowerment, volunteerism, and civic leadership. Discussions covered national security, community engagement, and strategies for sustaining effective student volunteer programs. Regional sharing also showcased best practices in NSTP implementation across the country.
NDMC’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to shaping future leaders as agents of positive change and nation-building, aligning with SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The insights gained will further enhance the NSTP program of NDMC, ensuring it continues to empower students to serve their communities and contribute to a sustainable Philippines.
