COMMUNITY EXTENSION SERVICES
The Notre Dame of Midsayap College - Community Extension Services was formally established last 1985 as an outreach arm of the College. Its thrust is to promote community development efforts within the context of an academic institution. This means that its aim is to provide a platform from which NDMC students and personnel can engage in a learning environment with community service at its core. The creation of the said office was in response to its Vision-Mission to reach more people especially in the far-flung areas in the province of Cotabato.
The CES programs are classified into two; Community-Based and the School-Based Extension Programs. Under the Community-based Programs are development services and community trainings that are actively identified by the target development partners or the people that will be served. School-based Programs on the other hand are unit or sectoral extension programs of the different unit/colleges of NDMC harnessing its human and material resources as needed by the identified development partners. Inspired by the spirit of service and volunteerism, this set-up was conceptualized to maximize the resources of NDMC and to let its personnel be conscious of its social responsibilities in general.
