NDMC Simbang Gabi 2025: A Journey of Faith and Unity
The NDMC Simbang Gabi 2025 was solemnly celebrated from December 15–19, 2025, at 6:30 PM at the Notre Dame Chapel, Notre Dame of Midsayap College. Organized by the Campus Ministry and Religious Education (CMRE) Office, the five-day novena Mass gathered administrators, faculty, staff, and students in prayerful preparation for Christmas.
Each evening Eucharistic celebration was presided over by OMI priests and religious, offering reflections on conversion, justice, hope, belongingness, and trust in God. Various academic departments, offices, and student organizations served as sponsors and presenters, highlighting the spirit of collaboration and shared faith within the NDMC community. The active participation of students—from college to grade school—added vibrancy and meaning to the liturgical celebrations.
The final Simbang Gabi concluded with gratitude and thanksgiving, followed by a simple fellowship meal of pastil and boiled eggs. This humble gathering strengthened camaraderie and reflected the values of unity, generosity, and community that defined the entire novena.
Overall, the Simbang Gabi 2025 deepened communal faith, reinforced NDMC’s Catholic identity, and prepared the hearts of the Damean community for the joyful celebration of Christ’s birth.
The novena fostered spiritual renewal and reflection within the NDMC community. Collaboration among offices and student organizations strengthened unity and shared responsibility. The celebration emphasized compassion, inclusivity, and the call to be a welcoming faith community.
