NDEA - NDMC - Phoenix Publishing House Collaborate Seminar-Workshop

The NDEA Junior High School Commission and Phoenix/Sibs Publishing with NDMC Integrated Basic Education conducted a Seminar-Workshop on Differentiated Instruction. The seminar-workshop was conducted on September 20 -21, 2019 at the Primera Function Hall.

The speaker of the said seminar-workshop is Dr. Cynthia Arcadio, who was the English Department Head and Academic Coordinator of Xavier School - Greenhills, San Juan, Manila. Participants of the seminar-workshop were IBED faculty from:
ND Arakan ND Kidapawan ND Parang SMA-Midsayap
ND Cotabato ND Libungan ND Pigcawayan
ND Datu Piang ND Magpet ND Pikit
ND Genio Edcor ND Makilala ND Sarmiento
ND Kabacan ND Midsayap NDU

The session started at 1:00 pm of Day 1 after the luncheon. Engr. Ronniel D. Labio, MIT – the Vice President for Academic Affairs gave his Welcome Address to the participants.

After the introduction of the speaker, Dr. Arcadio went with the afternoon session immediately on point.

On the Day 2 of the seminar-workshop Dr. Arcadio further discussed the essence of differentiated instruction in handling present generation of learners.

At the end of the seminar-workshop, assigned faculty from the 3 participating schools gave their impressions. Ms. Mary Jean Clarito – NDMC, Bro. Jick de Leon, FMS – NDKC and Ms. Janet Apostol – NDC.

This was followed by the giving of certificate and token to the speaker. Dr. Daisy O. Medalla – IBED Principal delivered her closing remarks to conclude the event.

What added excitement to the seminar-workshop was the group pictorial and raffle draw which gave away amazing prizes and souvenirs to the participants.
