NDMC joyfully celebrated the 243rd birthday of the founder of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate—St. Eugene De Mazenod, a man born for the poor and sent for the mission.
On August 1, 2025, at 8:00 AM, the NDMC community gathered at Bulwagang Genoveva Deles Jaranilla for a solemn Mass in thanksgiving for his life of service and faith. The celebration was attended by IBED and college students.
Alongside the Mass, Fellowship at the PRIMERA Function Hall brought students and staff together in joyful unity, while the Da’wah at ETD Court, with the theme Da’wah: Guiding Others to the Straight Path with Kindness and Wisdom, strengthened interfaith peace and understanding. These simultaneous celebrations reflected St. Eugene’s mission of compassion, inclusivity, and love.
After the celebration, Fr. Anthony was warmly welcomed as the new spiritual shepherd of the NDMC family.
In every Mass offered, in every prayer whispered, and in every act of service given, may all live by the words:
“Fidem Patriamque Servabo”
—I serve my God and my country.
May the torch of St. Eugene’s mission continue to be carried forward… with courage, compassion, and commitment.
