After years of pause in academic-related operations, Notre Dame of Midsayap College has finally restored the Dameans’ spirit as the community celebrated Mother Mary’s nativity with a theme “Fiesta sa NDMC: Celebrating the Greatness of Mary; The True Hope of All.” It aimed to recollect and clutch a lesson from the charitable acts that Mother Mary inculcated in humanity and to serve as an epitome of piousness and compassion.

The morning activities commenced at seven for the registration and were followed by the IBED Eucharistic Celebration. Meanwhile, Fr. Jonathan R. Domingo, OMI, presided over the groundbreaking ceremony of the new NDMC Chapel, which took place at the NDMC campus. The second Eucharistic Mass Celebration, intended for college students, came next. Following that, a motorcade parade came next to express appreciation to Ms. Erica Jane Calibara after bringing honor to the institution by winning the Mutya ng Cotabato 2022 title last August 28, 2022.

As part of any festive events, games and other recreational activities should not slip out of our hands. The Mahangin Area was the place of the parade to display the astounding artistic talent and astonishing diverse beauty of the different festival royalties from each department. With the kings and queens donning their exquisite Festival attire, it was undoubtedly a spectacular sight.

In honor of the birth of Mother Mary, different departments also erected their artistic and sacramental altars. The students voiced their echoing cheers for their contenders as various Larong Pinoy was played.
