Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC) faculty and staff received free health checkups today, August 11, 2025, through a medical mission conducted by Midsayap Diagnostic Center and Hospital, Inc. (MDCHI) at the Bulwagang Genoveva Deles Jaranilla Gymnasium.
The medical mission aimed to ensure the well-being of all NDMC employees. Various doctors from MDCHI actively participated, providing comprehensive health screenings. The enthusiastic participation of both the MDCHI medical team and the NDMC staff contributed to the mission’s success, underscoring the commitment of both institutions to the health and wellness of the NDMC community.
The mission offered a range of free health services, including:
 • Medical consultation and assessment (adult and pediatric), which was also open to elementary pupils with prior notice to their parents or guardians.
 • Free medication for identified common ailments.
 • Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) and cholesterol determination for 100 participants, conducted at the hospital laboratory as early as 6:30 AM. Participants were required to bring and present their school ID.
 • Electrocardiogram (ECG) for 50 participants aged 50 years and above with comorbidities.
 • Pap smear for 20 women.
These services ensured that the NDMC community not only received immediate medical attention but also valuable preventive care to promote long-term health.
