NDMC Holds Age-Based Personnel Retreat for Young Employees

Kidapawan City, Philippines – Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC) conducted a Personnel Retreat for employees in their 20s and 30s as part of its holistic formation program for School Year 2024–2025. The three-day retreats were held in four batches on November 3–5, 5–7, 10–12, and 17–19 at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Shrine & Retreat Center – OMI Youth and Family Center in Binoligan, Kidapawan City.

Organized by the NDMC Administration in coordination with the Campus Ministry and Human Resource Office, the retreat gathered personnel aged 20–39 and grouped them according to age bracket to better address their life stage concerns and spiritual needs. The retreat sessions were facilitated by Fr. Mark Yoniz Beley, OMI.

Personnel in their 30s reflected on the theme “Renewing the Heart: Embracing Purpose and Inner Clarity,” focusing on renewal, healing, and rediscovering their sense of mission amid personal and professional responsibilities. Meanwhile, those in their 20s explored “Growing Through Change: A Reflective Retreat for Emerging Adults,” emphasizing growth, transition, and trusting God’s guidance through life’s uncertainties.

Through prayer, silence, guided reflections, and sharing sessions, participants experienced renewal, deeper self-awareness, and strengthened commitment to their vocation as educators and staff. Many expressed gratitude for the opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their purpose.

The retreat underscored NDMC’s commitment to nurturing not only professional competence but also the emotional and spiritual well-being of its personnel.
