Notre Dame of Midsayap College–The college department came together in celebration of Pagtinapok: The First College General Assembly, held on July 29, 2025, at the Bulwagang Genoveva Deles Jaranilla.

Spearheaded by the Supreme Student Government (SSG), in partnership with the Office of the Director of Student Affairs and Services (DSAS), the event served as a platform to promote student engagement, leadership, and campus unity.

The program opened with a warm welcome and the presentation of the SSG’s accomplishment report by SSG President Charles Ian T. Sulayman. He highlighted key milestones from the previous academic year and gave a preview of Sidlak 2025—the college’s upcoming intramurals featuring competitions in sports, academics, and socio-cultural events—sparking enthusiasm among the students.

One of the program’s main highlights was the official oath-taking of newly elected officers from recognized student organizations. The ceremony affirmed the student leaders’ commitment to responsible leadership and active participation in institutional development.

In his address, Director of Student Affairs and Services Ariel T. Villaflor underscored the importance of discipline, proper conduct, and adherence to college protocols, particularly the consistent wearing of complete uniforms and identification cards, as tangible expressions of respect for the institution.

To conclude the assembly, the SSG facilitated interactive games and an open forum, offering a space for students to voice concerns, foster camaraderie, and celebrate their shared aspirations.

With strong participation and a renewed sense of unity, Pagtinapok set the tone for a year of meaningful student leadership and vibrant campus life at NDMC.
