NDMC Nursing Faculty Joins 66th National Convention on Reimagining Nursing Curricula

The NDMC College of Nursing participated in the 66th National Convention and General Assembly held on October 2–3, 2025, at the Fiesta Pavilion of Manila Hotel. With the theme “Reimagining Nursing Curricula for the Future of Advanced Practice and Strengthening Primary Health Care Approach,” the convention brought together nursing educators and practitioners nationwide.

The discussions highlighted key innovations in nursing education, including strengthening primary health care, enhancing interprofessional collaboration, improving leadership and policy engagement, and reinforcing research and evidence-based practice. The sessions also emphasized the growing relevance of digital health technologies such as telehealth, electronic health records, and AI-assisted care.

Participant Nathalie A. Sara gained valuable insights on community immersion, team-based decision-making, policy advocacy, and digital readiness—competencies essential for shaping future-ready nurses. These learnings will help enrich NDMC’s nursing curriculum and contribute to improved health care delivery.
