Rentuma Tops the Graduating Class of 2022

The Home of Topnotchers – College of Education has the biggest haul of academic awardees in the 61st Commencement Exercises on May 29. 

There are 26 academic awardees from CED out of the total 43. 

The College of Business and Accountancy has 12 academic awardees, followed by the College of Arts and Sciences with 3 awardees. 

Both the College of Criminal Justice Education and College of Nursing have 1 awardee.

Topping the roster of academic awardees is Lea B. Rentuma, BSED Social Studies major. 

She obtained the grade weighted average of 1.108500. 

She is the Governor of the College of Education, and has since been active in all the endeavors of the college. 

She is a consistent honor student and a contender in public speaking. 

Rentuma will deliver the Address of Petition during the Commencement Exercises. 

Aside from the academic award conferred on Rentuma, she will also receive Civil Service Eligibility Certificate along with other academic awardees.
 
The said eligibility qualifies the recipient to a government appointment subject to other requirements of the position and the provision of Civil Service Law and Rules.

A total of 403 candidates for graduation will receive their diplomas in the first face to face graduation since March 2020.
