NDMC embraces it’s new president

JUNE 21, 2017--A wondrous celebration was held for the installment of Fr. Jonathan R. Domingo, OMI, as 11th President of Notre Dame Midsayap College (NDMC). The teachers were dressed in traditional Baro’t Saya and Barong Tagalog for this special occasion. The first part of the ceremony started with a Holy Mass around 8:00 in the morning with the Knights of the Altar presenting the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit in the procession at the Bulwagang Genoveva deles Jaranilla.

The next event was the installation and oath taking of Fr. Domingo. Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) Provincial Superior Fr. Lauro S. De Guia, OMI read the appointment setting Fr. Domingo, OMI as the new president of NDMC. Fr. Domingo took his oath in the presence of Judge Rainera P. Osua, LLM and the NDMC community. This was followed by a speech where he introduced the enhanced core values, DARES: Driven by Faith, Agile, Respect, Excellence, and Service; putting forward the Marian accountability.

The third part of the astonishing celebration was a marvelous show of singing and dancing of the students and teachers. It was an amazing display of their jaw-dropping talents. All the students from the Elementary Training Department, Junior High School, Senior High School and College joined together for a community dance led by the teachers and faculty members. The spectacular event ended with a tribute to Mary our Mother.
