NDMC exemplifies compassion through community extension services
Embodying the generosity and humility, which are the characteristics of Mother Mary, the Notre Dame of Midsayap College, through the College of Business and Accountancy and College of Education, extended its helping hands to the IP community of Langgal and IP kids of Pangipasan Mission School in the same day of celebrating the birthday of Mother Mary, September 8, 2022, at Primera Function Hall.
The community extension services and awarding program started with a prayer by Ms. Irah Joy A. Tambagan, followed by the welcome message of Mr. Ernesto Tasic, the CBA Governor. It was then proceeded by the awarding of Food Assistance headed by Fr. Jonathan R. Domingo, OMI, NDMC President, and assisted by Engr. Ronniel D. Labio, MIT, the VPAA, along with Dr. Genevieve O. Torino, DBM, the CBA Dean, and Dr. Honeylyn Mahinay, LPT, the CED Dean to the OMI IP Langgal Ministry In-charge Fr. Danilo S. Pacate, OMI which continued by his warm thank you message comprising the heart touching life of the IP’s in Langgal and its appreciation to the NDMC community.
The program continued by awarding a scholarship headed by Fr. Jonathan R. Domingo, OMI, NDMC President, assisted by Engr. Ronniel D. Labio, MIT, the VPAA, together with Dr. Genevieve O. Torino, DBM, the CBA Dean, and Dr. Honeylyn Mahinay, LPT, the CED Dean to the IP Kids of OMI Pangipasan Mission School, represented by Fr. Stephen C. Ondoy, OMI which was later then proceeded by his inspirational message of gratitude.
The informative statement of Fr. Jonathan R. Domingo, OMI, emphasizes service and charity to the poor as one of the missions of the Notre Dame of Midsayap College. He assured that NDMC would continue to help, reach, touch, and be inspired by the lives of the deprived. After that, Dr. Genevieve Torino, DBM, concluded the program with its closing remarks entailing that NDMC will continue to uphold students’ holistic growth and excellence.
The last part of the program was Photo Opportunity and the MOA Signing.
