INVICTA: A Night of Silverlining Testimonies
The College of Education of Notre Dame of Midsayap College celebrated the success of 84 new licensed professional teachers during the testimonial dinner last March 11, 2023, at the historic Bulwagang Genoveva Deles Jaranilla Gymnasium.
The prestigious college testimonial dinner was headed by the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Honeylyn M. Mahinay, and attended by school administrators, faculty members, students, and honorees, who wore their fancy, glittery gowns and elegant dresses as they marched into the aisle, expressing their joy and gratitude.
One of the program's highlights is when NDMC President, Father Jonathan Domingo, OMI, gives a pearl of prodigious words of inspiration and gratitude to the board passers, filling the hearts of the hopefuls with fuel and drive to give it their best shot when the time is ripe for them. As the Notre Dame of Midsayap College strides, holding on to its promise to bring the best of the Notre Dame Spirit to Asia and the rest of the world, it is undeniable that the school never fails to produce excellent and well-rounded students in various fields.
As the representatives of 84 new LPTs, Mr. Niñorowin D. Dejecacion, RM, LPT, and Ms. Florecil Labiao, LPT, shared their experiences before and throughout their examination. The road to success might sound terrifying, but it is a living testament to how faith in God worked out. They also lured and challenged undergraduate students to keep going despite difficulties because nothing is impossible when one trusts the Lord. When one works hard and believes in yourself, every moment of the struggle will lead to victory. In response, the College of Education Local Student Government Governor Norsaleen Gani Dela Cruz remarked, accepting the challenge of the new LPTs.
Their experiences motivated the aspirants who wanted to become teachers to work hard and keep their eyes on the prize. The program ends with the community singing, which makes the event more memorable and inspires hundreds of students to achieve the LPT title in the succeeding years. The College of Education at NDMC is known as an expert in molding young educators to be ready and excel in their professions.
As a CED tradition and practice, the symbolic giving of pencils toed the line. This showed that the legacy would continue with the next generation of educators, who will take the teacher board exam.
The people who once again brought pride to the community and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers are the following:

NDMC is indeed the home of champions. To emphasize the point of this ingrained legacy, the historic venue ended with a loud noise and the beanfeast with a bang, singing several songs that united the CEDucators.
