NDMC Nursing Students Compete in 8th Battle of the Nightingale

The College of Nursing proudly represented Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC) in the 8th Inter-Nursing School Battle of the Nightingale Quiz Bowl, held on August 20, 2025, at KCC Mall de Zamboanga.

BSN 4 students Xander Ryan V. Bongcawil, Shaira Mae H. Cabal, John Clarke D. Jamero, and Elvira V. Ismael competed against peers from other nursing schools, showcasing their knowledge in anatomy, patient care, nursing ethics, and critical thinking.

Although the team did not secure a top-five finish, NDMC maintained a strong and consistent performance for four consecutive years. The event highlighted not only the students’ academic foundation but also their teamwork, determination, and resilience.

This participation contributes to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
