The Notre Dame of Midsayap College – IBED Supreme Student Government (SSG) proudly participated in the Division Learners’ Convergence (DLC) 2025 held at Tulunan National High School from December 12–14, 2025. The three-day event gathered student leaders from different municipalities to strengthen leadership skills, collaboration, and student engagement through various educational and community-centered activities.

Representing NDMC were fourteen student leaders who actively participated in leadership sessions, thematic workshops, socio-cultural presentations, and community outreach activities. The convergence aimed to empower young leaders by enhancing their communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while promoting unity and camaraderie among learners.

The opening day featured interfaith prayers, cultural presentations, leadership talks, and interactive activities that encouraged collaboration among participants from different municipalities. One of the highlights was the Torch Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing unity, teamwork, and the guiding light of leadership.

On the second day, participants joined thematic sessions focused on development, health, environment, gender, leadership, and cultural heritage. NDMC student leader Mykhyla O. Tampos and her group successfully advanced to the final project pitching with their project titled “Addressing Digitalization and Cultural Invisibility: Reconnecting Youth to their Cultural Identity,” which earned 3rd place overall. The evening concluded with the Search for Mr. and Ms. DLC 2025, where representatives from Midsayap emerged victorious, bringing pride and honor to the municipality.

The final day centered on community service initiatives such as feeding programs, campus clean-up drives, and tree-planting activities. These meaningful engagements highlighted the importance of servant leadership, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility among student leaders.

The participation of NDMC-IBED SSG in DLC 2025 reflected the institution’s commitment to developing competent, compassionate, and socially responsible student leaders. Through the event, participants gained valuable experiences, built meaningful connections, and deepened their understanding of leadership rooted in service, collaboration, and community involvement.
