NDMC, Passed the MikroTik Training and Certification
NDMC sent two (2) CITE faculty and two (2) ITC technical staff for a six (6)-day Mikrotik Training and Certification last August 26- 31, 2019 at Southern Baptist College, Mlang, Cotabato. Engr. Roy Lopez Pamitalan, a Mikrotik Certified Trainer and Mikrotik Certified Academy Trainer, was the resource speaker of the said training.
Part 1 of the training talked about the Mikrotik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA). Engr.Pamitalan shared his knowledge and skills in RouterOS software and RouterBoard product capabilities. He demonstrated every detail to configure, manage and troubleshoot a Mikrotik device.
Part 2 discussed the Mikrotik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE). The trainer elaborated on advance skills in routing, bridging, tunnel and virtual private network (VPN). Participants also demonstrate how to configure, manage and troubleshoot a Mikrotik device for routing, bridging, tunnel, and VPN.
Part 3 discussed the Mikrotik Certified User Management Engineer (MTCUME). The trainer provided basic and advance user management capabilities for any size networks using Mikrotik RouterOS. Participants had a workshop in planning, implementing, adjusting and Debugging user management configurations implemented in the Mikrotik RouterOS.
After the Mikrotik hands-on training, Edwin V. Resmenia, ITC-MIS Technical staff, and Gaubert B. Espe, CITE faculty, passed the examination and earned the following Mikrotik certifications; Mikrotik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), Mikrotik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE) and Mikrotik Certified User Management Engineer (MTCNA).
