NDMC's Grupong Sayap is Halad 2020 Grand Champion
Grupong Sayap's final score is 91.72 against Grupong Salagad 91.11. The clash between NDMC and Looy Integrated Technical Vocational High School from South Upi is one for the books having generated fandom from the netizens and spectators.
At the closing ceremonies of Halad 2020, Grupong Sayap clinched the Halad 2020 Grand Champion title winning P300K cash prize plus trophy. Grupong Salugad was declared First Runner-up with P200K cash prize plus trophy.
The entry of Taguranao High School, Tribung Taguranawon from Taguranao, Matalam was adjuged Second Runner-up with P150K cash prize plus trophy.
The Sining Kandulang Dance Troupe of Sarilikha National High School from Datu Odin Sinsuat Maguindanao received P100K for winning the Third Runner-up plus certificate.
Aside from the major prizes, Grupong Sulagad also won Best in Costume with P5k for a prize as well as Best in Musical Group with P5K for a prize. Tribung Taguranawon on the other hand won Best in Street Dancing with P10K for a prize.
Meanwhile for the Church-based category Grupong Sadaanon of the Sadaan District won as Grand Champion receiving P150K cash prize plus trophy.
The First Runner-up was the Tribung Bulaniño of the Upper Bulanan District which received P100K cash prize plus trophy.
Grupong Kristohanon from the Poblacion Distict finished the competition as Second Runner-up with P70K cash prize plus trophy.
Declared Third Runner-up was Tribung Salanuyanon of the Salunayan District which received P40K cash prize plus certificate.
The Best in Costume was awarded to Tribung Bulaniño with P5K cash prize plus certificate while Grupong Sadaanon was declared Best in Street Dancing receiving P5K cash prize plus certificate.
Meanwhile for the Karosa Competiton, the Sto. Niño Parish Knights of the Altar was declared as Grand Champion winning P50K cash prize.
The NDMC Karosa was adjudged First Runner-up with P30K cash prize. The MMR Farm was the Second Runner-up with P15K cash prize. The Karosa entry of Sayap Bonsai, PCIC and DPWH all received P10K as consolation prize.
For the Float Competition, NDMC was the Grand Champion with P50K cash prize. REACT Midland Group was declared First Runner-up with P30K cash prize.
The Second Runner-up was the float entry of Ochado/Tapawarma receiving P15K cash prize.
The Float entry of Anecito T. Pesante, Sr. Memorial Hospital and Midsayap Federation of Market Vendors’ Association received P10K as consolation prize.
The Halad 2020 Festival Queen was coming from Grupong Sulagad.
