It is the day many revelations and points for further improvement as the PAASCU team during the consultancy visit. The team assessed the capabilities of the three colleges for Level 1 Accreditation which most likely will take place 6 months from now during the formal visit. The respective deans and faculty of the three colleges are all ears and heart to the suggestions and advices of the PAASCU team which give them a head start for the coming big day. The CED Family Day is one of the best features of the college. The activity aims to foster closer relationships between and among CED faculty, parents and students. The CED Family Day was held last January 25 at the De Mazenod Student Lounge 3. It encouraged the parents to express different concerns of their children as well as giving opportunity to the college dean to present developments and plans of the College of Education. Concerns and activities of the college in connection with the students’ development were all laid down during the said event, most importantly the status of the Tertiary Educational Subsidy. With evident confidence, eloquence and spontaneity, Julienne Sheen Collado Fresnoza, 23, a High School English teacher from St. Mary’s Academy sealed her fate as the new Mutya ng Midsayap. Fresnoza was joined by Erica Jane Calibara, a 19 year old BSBA Marketing Management major student of the Notre Dame of Midsayap College, who was declared First Runner-up.
